About Colette
Colette Harrison is a registered General Psychologist with over 25 years of experience.
Colette has worked within community-based and private practice settings providing individuals with counselling for a variety of mental health and psychological issues. She has also provided mentoring and supervision to newly graduated psychologists.
Colette has worked in her private psychology practice for several years. She has connected to the communities of the Mornington Peninsula, Bayside, and Casey areas and also the broader Gippsland and regional populations.
Over many years, Colette has worked with adults, adolescents, and children. Her work is now mostly with adults aged 18 to 80 +. Colette is experienced in working with common presenting issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and post-natal depression and many other psychological/emotional issues. Additionally, Colette works with people on the NDIS with psychosocial disablity.
Colette worked in the addiction field for many years and also has significant experience in the area of sexual assault. This experience has given her a special interest in working with addiction, PTSD and Complex PTSD.
Sessions are currently offered either face-to-face or via Telehealth. The times of face-to-face appointments are limited to morning sessions. Telehealth sessions are offered for afternoons and after-hours appointments. Telehealth appointments via Zoom or telephone offers the opportunity for confidential and convenient appointments saving travel time and allowing people to access assistance from anywhere within Australia.
